| More: | The main topic of the joint plenary expert meeting of ENEA (European Network of Environmental Authorities) and EIA/SEA (Environmental Impact Assessment/Strategic Environmental Assessment expert group) Working Groups will be the relationship between EIA and SEA directives and other European legislation, cohesion policy and SEA assessments. Particular emphasis will be placed on presenting the European Commission’s experience in the integrated assessment of the Operational Programmes for 2007–2013, the issues of climate change and the contribution of structural funds to the European Biodiversity Action Plan. Under the EIA/SEA Working Groups, procedures of legal practice will also be presented. The meeting will also be dedicated to preparing the fourth meeting of the parties to the ESPOO Convention to be held in Romania in May 2008. |
