| More: | The seminar will be organised by the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief and the Civil Protection Unit of the European Commission’s Environment Directorate-General. The purpose of the seminar is to inform participants regarding the current status of national disaster management systems in candidate countries and Western Balkan countries and to encourage the further development of such systems, particularly in view of the EU pre-accession process. The candidate countries and Western Balkan countries will be acquainted with EU civil protection measures and informed of opportunities for becoming involved in certain activities. |
