The goal of the conference is to establish an overview of what has been achieved so far and to collate new ideas on how to proceed with implementation of the Market Access Partnership. The participants will be addressed by high representatives of the three partners in the Market Access Partnership, possibly Commissioner Mandelson as a representative of the European Commission, the Slovenian Minister of the Economy as a representative of the Member States and a representative of European industry. Participants at the conference will come from the same three partners: representatives of the Member States, of European industry and Commission officials from several Directorates-General.
