The European Photovoltaic Technology Platform brings together all actors in the field of photovoltaics in the EU and worldwide. The General Assembly will gather some 300 leading representatives from a range of research institutions, enterprises engaged in photovoltaics, representatives of non-governmental organisations, representatives of national line ministries, Members of the European Parliament and senior members of the European Commission, including Dr Janez Potočnik. The third General Assembly will be a one-day event with plenary lectures on past achievements and a comprehensive overview of the current ştate of play in the field of photovoltaics, including aspects of the EU and national policies, market developments, new technological achievements and the action plan for the implementation of the strategic development agenda set at the second General Assembly held in Berlin in June 2007.
