The content of the meeting of the European Judicial Network in criminal matters will be finalised after the February plenary session in Brussels; potential topics include: presentation of the special group of prosecutors within the Slovenia State Prosecutor’s Office, system of international legal assistance in Slovenia, implementation of the European Arrest Warrant (as well as the state of play concerning assessment), current position and future action regarding the planned European Commission proposal on the future of Eurojust and the European Judicial Network. The candidate countries and some Western Balkan countries will be invited to the plenary session to present their systems of international legal assistance (e.g. potential difficulties in practice) or any other example of international cooperation in criminal matters.
