The aim of the Conference, organised by the Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational Programmes (CMEPIUS), Ministry of Education and Sport of the RS and European Commission, is to exchange opinions on monitoring quality in international mobility from the aspect of both European and national policy and of organisations which deal with mobility and of individuals who are involved in international mobility, and to create opinions for improved quality in mobility.

The Conference will be opened by key speeches by Milan Zver, PhD, Minister of Education and Sport and Jan Figel; European Commissioner for Education and Culture who will also give European Awards for Quality in Mobility to the best projects. During the conference participants from 34 countries will try to answer key questions such as: “Does a greater number of participants ensure a stronger effect of the Programme?” and “What does quality in international mobility mean and how can we improve it?”
