The 9th regular meeting of the Commission is aimed at intensifying cooperation between Adriatic Sea countries in the field of coastal and water resources. The first day of the conference is intended for the competent ministers of all the Adriatic coastal States. The discussion will focus on the following main points:

• the interest of all Adriatic countries in terms of involvement in the work of trilateral commission;
• the EU Marine Strategy Directive and preparation of a marine strategy for the Adriatic subregion.

Furthermore, it is expected that a memorandum will be signed on closer cooperation between all the Adriatic countries with a view to achieving the objectives of the Marine Strategy Directive.
