The ASEM Senior Officials' Meeting forms part of the regular meetings of representatives of foreign ministries of the ASEM partners. ASEM is an informal process of dialogue and cooperation between the EU and Asian countries, including ASEAN Member Countries and the ASEAN Secretariat, China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, India, Pakistan and Mongolia. The objectives of this Senior Officials' Meeting at Bled and Brdo are an exchange of views on the situation in both regions and the preparations for the ASEM 7 Summit to be held in China on 24 and 25 October.
