An informal meeting of Chief Veterinary Officers is a traditional event organised by the Member State holding the Presidency. The meeting facilitates professional discussions and exchanges of views between the most senior representatives of the veterinary profession as well as giving participants an opportunity to socialise. The subjects for discussion will include matters related to the Presidency programme and topical issues of the moment. Meeting participants will also be offered a study visit affording an overview of veterinary activities in Slovenia and a short presentation of Slovenia.
