The Presidency of the EU strongly condemns the recent terrorist attacks in Iraq, the latest in the village Bo Mohammad near Kirkuk, which cost many civilian casualties.
The Presidency conveys its sincere condolences to the families of those killed and injured. The Presidency supports the Iraqi authorities in their endeavour to prevent terrorist attacks on the civilian population and to bring peace and stability to their country.
The Presidency recalls the EU's support for a secure, stable, democratic and prosperous Iraq, based on its commitment to the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the country.
