City Hall, LjubljanaPress Centre in Ljubljana Town Hall

During the Slovenian EU Presidency, the Municipality of Ljubljana expects to host a lot of visitors from near and far, including media representatives, who are very likely to visit the Slovenian capital during their stay in Slovenia; some of them will even stay in accommodation in Ljubljana.

In order to enable media representatives to discover Ljubljana – combining business and pleasure – the Town Hall (Mestni trg 1) will, for the duration of the Presidency, offer them appropriate premises where they can work and also keep up to date with current formal events and cultural performances in Ljubljana.

The Press Centre will be open every working day from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and will extend its working hours if required. Opening hours will be longer when Ljubljana is hosting important Slovenian EU Presidency events.

There will be ten workstations equipped with computers with internet access at the disposal of media representatives. Wireless internet will also be provided. The Press Centre will supply up-to-date information on events in Ljubljana and on all Presidency-related activities of the Ljubljana Municipality.

Media representatives will be authorised to enter upon presentation of a valid press card.
