The discussion at the Climate Change workshop, which is traditionally organised at the beginning of the presiding Member State’s Presidency, will cover the following subjects: survey of developments in the field of climate change over the last year, including the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bali; expectations and work programme of the EU Council Working Party on International Environment Issues (IEI); presentation of new European legislation on renewable energy sources and carbon dioxide capture and storage, and presentation of the climate and landscape features of Slovenia.
