More: | In line with established practice, the current EU Presidency State will organise a meeting of Ministers responsible for labour and social affairs to coincide with the International Labour Organization (ILO) conference. The ministerial meeting, dedicated to exchanging experience and transferring good practices in the area of decent employment for young people, will be co-chaired by the Slovenian Minister Marjeta Cotman and the Director-General of the ILO. In addition to the Ministers from the EU Member States of Germany, Portugal, France and the Czech Republic who will participate in this year's meeting, the Ministers of Labour and Employment of Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro will be invited to attend. The European Commission will be represented at the meeting by Commissioner Vladimir Špidla. |
