More: The fundamental purpose of the European Meeting of People Experiencing Poverty, in Brussels, is to ensure that the voice of people faced with poverty is heard, as well as that of policy-makers engaged in reducing poverty and social exclusion at European Union and national level. The meeting also aims to mobilise marginal groups, give them training and involve them in the process of seeking solutions and shaping measures to improve their situation.
