Following concerns raised by the EU election observers about alleged irregularities in the conduct of the Presidential elections, the Presidency urges all parties to pursue dialogue and appropriate juridical means to find a credible and transparent solution in line with democratic standards.
The Presidency expresses its sorrow at the loss of life in recent days; it condemns all acts of violence and calls on all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint and refrain from any further confrontation.
The Presidency expects that political leaders will do their utmost to reach a solution to the benefit of the Kenyan people.
