The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and President of the General Affairs and External Relations Council, Dr Dimitrij Rupel, will pay a working visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands on 16 January 2008 at which he will meet the new prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, Mr Serge Brammertz. The visit is part of the regular dialogue between the two countries and occurs within the framework of the dialogue of the Presidency of the Council of the EU with the EU Member States. The meeting will be a forum for an exchange of opinions on topical issues, the situation in the Western Balkans, the issue of the future status of Kosovo and bilateral relations between Slovenia and the Netherlands.
