More: | In accordance with the final draft agenda of the February plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the representatives of the EU Council Presidency will participate in the following discussions. On Tuesday morning, 19 February, Minister of the Economy Andrej Vizjak will participate in a discussion on Goods Package, while in the afternoon, Minister of Development Dr Žiga Turk will engage in a discussion on the Lisbon Strategy and the Broad Economic Policy Guidelines 2008. On Wednesday morning, 20 February 2008, State Secretary for European Affairs Janez Lenarčič will take part in the discussion on the Lisbon Treaty, and in the afternoon session he will participate in the discussion on monitoring the application of Community law and will deliver a statement on the seventh session of the United Nations Human Rights Council. Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Dimitrij Rupel will deliver a statement on Kosovo. In conclusions to Wednesday afternoon session, State Secretary for European Affairs Janez Lenarčič will be answering oral questions of Members of the European Parliament. |
